Action: Standard (attack)

Duration: Instant

Effect: The character makes a Fight attack with edge at a target that was at least 10 feet away at the start of the character’s turn. For every part of a 50-foot increment the character moved to get to the target, the attack does their Fight physical (bashing) damage (plus their Might score) and the attack becomes more challenging, as seen on the table below.

If the attack is a success, both the character and the target take the listed damage and are knocked prone. If the attack is a fantastic success, only the target is knocked prone. If the attack is a miss, no one takes damage, but the character is knocked prone. If the attack is a botch, the character sustains the damage and is knocked prone. The maximum amount of damage that can be done is twice the maximum Health of the combatant with the lowest maximum Health.
